The Bit MAX cryptocurrency exchange has announced that residents of some countries will no longer be able to access the trading platform due to regulatory restrictions.
In total, 11 countries were included in the list of regions with limited access: the United States, the Canadian province of Quebec, Cuba, Crimea, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Sudan, Bermuda, Hong Kong and the Seychelles.
“The job of good regulators is to ensure that companies work with customers in a legal mode. Therefore, we decided to restrict access to BitMEX for users of those jurisdictions in which the offices of the parent company HDR Global Trading Limited are located, ” the website of the cryptocurrency exchange reports.
